Advocacy and Policy

Congress Leaves Early for Midterm Campaigns

The House of Representatives and Senate have both announced early adjournment in the next few weeks, with plans to return after the November elections.

This was made possible by the quick passage of a Continuing Resolution (CR), which kept the federal government funded through December 11. The CR was signed into law on September 2.
