Student of the Month - Tionna Moss
Tionna Moss is a seventeen-year-old student at Sierra High School. This athletic and creative, 4.0 GPA, student aspires to attend Keuka College in New York, major in Pre-Medicine, and become a Neonatologist. She currently earns college credit towards an Associate Degree.

12/04/18 - Colorado Gives Day

Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy through online giving. The AAYLC was honored to be one of the non-profit organizations participating this year. We were humbled by the out pour of support, which led to attaining our $5,000 goal. Thank YOU!
12/22/18 - Bob Telmosse Christmas Giveaway

Tremendous joy was felt by all at the Bob Telmosse Christmas Giveaway. Our Board and Planning Committee members, and our families volunteered for this incredible event. The delight we saw on the family's faces as they received books, stuffed animals, bikes, clothes, toys, and groceries was truly amazing.
Conference Volunteers - We Need YOU!
Have you ever wanted to help out during our annual African American Youth Leadership Conference? Now is the time! We are looking for volunteers to assist on March 9th. There are several roles and shifts available. If you are interested in donating your time, please complete our online volunteer registration form.

01/18/19 - Educating Children of Color (ECOC)

The ECOC will be holding their annual summit on January 19th. The African American Youth Leadership Conference (AAYLC) is excited to participate as a vendor for this event. We will provide information about our upcoming conference. Stop by our table and say hello.

1/21/19 - Dr. Martin Luther King Celebration

Join the AAYLC in celebrating Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Our premier sponsor, Colorado College, will begin the day with the All People's Breakfast. The AAYLC will have a table located in Worner Center from approximately 9:30am - 11:00am. We would love to see you! 03/09/19 - African American Youth Leadership Conference

Inviting Colorado students in grades 6 - 12 to join us for our annual conference on Saturday, March 9, 2019 . Experience a full day of learning and fun. Registration is  FREE . Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Parents are also welcome to attend our Parent Workshop. Located on the beautiful Colorado College campus in Colorado Springs. Registration will open in mid-January.
