Attention ABBA International Show Exhibitors
This is a reminder that all show cattle in the Calf and Intermediate Divisions will be weighed and measured on Tuesday, March 7th at 7:00 AM in the Main Arena of the NRG Center. The seasonal fertility certificates for bulls in the last class, pregnancy status of females in the first three classes of the Senior Division and registration certificates for animals in the Group Classes will be checked on Tuesday, March 7th from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at the ABBA Booth. Also, be reminded that ALL animals MUST have an Actual Birthweight on their registration certificate at check in.
Fertility & Group Class Rules:
Bulls: For bulls being shown in the oldest class (January 1 - April 30, 2014), the exhibitor must have a seasonal fertility certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian or certified technician stating the bull can settle cows. This certificate MUST be presented to ABBA Officials between 12-2 PM on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.
Females: Females exhibited in the last class MUST have her nursing natural calf at side. The only exemption from this rule will be cows that have already weaned a calf and a registration certificate of the calf MUST be presented to the judge. The pregnancy certificate will be checked at the ABBA Booth between 12-2 PM on March 7 on females in the first three classes of the Senior Division (May 1 - December 31, 2014).
Group Classes:
The Original Registration Certificate or Original Copy (Blue with COPY across it) of each animal entering the ring for the group classes must be presented to the Show Official for parent verification. In an attempt to accommodate the exhibitors, the registration certificates of animals being exhibited in the group classes will be checked at 12-2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 7 at the ABBA Booth. Two animals for Natural Produce, four head for Embryo Produce and six head for the Get of Sire classes can be checked allowing the exhibitor to make the final selections prior to the show. If an exhibitor does not want to check papers early they would then have to bring papers on each animal that will enter the ring, at class check-in.

Help ABBA Resolve Search Issues
The ABBA Online Search System has had continued issues, however, reports indicate that the errors have vastly declined since January. We are still faced with remaining problems and our programmers are trying to pin point the underlying issue. We need your help, if you are utilizing the Online Search System and receive an ERROR message, please do one of the following:
- Take a screen shot of the error screen in the browser.
- Copy/paste the error message and the time it occurred.
- Send general information on what the user was doing (and the time of day).
- Was the user browsing the system, everything working fine, and then after a certain click, they got an error?
- Was the User unable to connect to the system at all when they attempted to do so?
Any issue that occurs after 2:00 PM CST till late in the evening may be sent directly to jay.stone@abri.une.edu.au. Our programmer will usually be able to resolve any issue that occurs during this time period. Any other issues can be sent directly to the ABBA office to the attention of Armelinda Ibarra at armelinda@brahman.org.
