What Our Partners Are Saying...

"You are all great at ABC! My coworkers and I were just talking the other day about how much we love ABC, specifically the Med Management Team. You never miss a beat and you are so great with communicating. Dealing with many providers that are not good communicators and not nearly diligent as you, you have no idea how much you are appreciated. Thank you so very much!

Different Legal Roles &
Who You Should Cast
Are you familiar with the various legal roles that come as part of proper estate planning?

Many people may have a general idea of what an Executor, Power of Attorney and Healthcare Proxy are but may not know who best to assign these roles to.

In this month's video, Attorney Mike Monteforte of Monteforte Law PC discusses the importance of each of these legal roles and provides insight as to who you should cast.

It's Older Americans Month
Age is Nothing But A Number!
Aging is a part of life but, with the right mindset and incorporating healthy lifestyle changes, you truly can be living your best life in your golden years!

Some healthy lifestyle changes include increased physical activity, addressing vitamin deficiencies, focusing on nutrition and reducing sugar and carbohydrate intake, getting involved with your community and/or volunteering and prioritizing mental health.

Mental Health: A Public Health Issue
Regardless of age, race and other demographics, we ALL experience mental health struggles at some point in our lives and this is nothing to be ashamed of. Mental health is becoming an increasingly important part of the public health mission as it is essential to overall health and well-being. For so long, society has been so concerned about physical health and mental struggles have been overlooked- which was especially the case for older adults.

Most people assume that increased depression is a normal part of aging and we are here to tell you that this NOT TRUE! Truth be told, there are many myths surrounding aging and mental health...
Services, Celebrations and More!
At ABC, Everyday is Nurses Day!
National Nurses Day was May 6th but we at ABC believe that everyday should be Nurses Day!

Truly, we are grateful to have some of the very best nurses in the industry representing the company who provide exceptional care to our clients each and every day. Our Nursing Team is a vital part of our success and we are so proud to have them on our team.

A BIG THANK YOU
to our nurses for all they do!
Walking for Brain Aneurysm Awareness
When tragedy strikes, the community comes together and this was certainly the case for the late Katelyn Caruso of Reading, MA.

Katelyn was 31 years old and due to be married this month to Brett Lepore- both former ABC workers. Tragically, Katelyn lost her life to a brain aneurysm in January. Many of those who loved Katelyn celebrated this remarkable young woman by participating in the Brain Aneurysm Foundation's (BAF) recent Walk/Run in Boston. The BAF is funding essential research that will provide a better understanding of why this condition happens and identify those at risk before an aneurysm rupture occurs.

Katelyn was an Occupational Therapist and Certified Licensed Hand Specialist. The family is also honoring her passion for healthcare with a special scholarship fund for those majoring in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Nursing or Health Science.
This crew will continue Katelyn's legacy through advocacy and fundraising for both brain aneurysm awareness as well as the Katelyn M. Caruso Healthcare scholarship fund.
