ABCG 2020 Annual Report: An Outlook of Our 2020 Activities

ABCG has been working with communities to support communities to develop livelihood adaptation strategies that will help communities cope and address the impacts of climate change. Since 2019, World Wildlife Fund (WWF), ABCG member leading implementation of this effort in Zimbabwe, has been working with local communities to initiate and develop projects that will address these climate-driven impacts. A New Phase of ABCG: Journey to Achieving Greater Impact for the Conservation of African Biodiversity

ABCG is moving into a new phase. We are building from past successes and developing a future for our organization that will allow us to achieve even more for the conservation of African biodiversity and remain a strong, sustainable organization. Through a business planning process conducted in 2020, ABCG has refined its approach to coordination and practice, with an emphasis on a shared focus, targeting one biodiversity challenge at a time, and commitment to a multi-sectoral approach. Lessons from Africa to the Navajo Nation on Freshwater Resources Management

I come from the Diné (Navajo) people and live on the Navajo reservation. My name is Hanson Mike. I am in my senior year of my undergraduate studies at Fort Lewis College and a summer intern at Conservation International (CI). I have found the examples from Africa that resonate very much with the experiences of my community quite informative, enriching and astounding during my internship. The focus on educating community members about water resources and WASH is very interesting to me because I have always felt that everyone should know where their water comes from and how to use that water. World Water Week 2021: Advocacy in Africa - Tools for Integrating WASH-Conservation in local agendas
