Dear ABCK- AmCham Kuwait,
It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that I am stepping down as Chairman, and from the Board of Directors of ABCK- AmCham Kuwait due to current work requirements preventing me from giving this position the proper time and the dedication it deserves. It has truly been an honor and privilege to have served with your amazing leadership team over the last several years. I am immensely proud of all we have accomplished together, and the difference ABCK continues to make in Kuwait. Your Executive team and Board members continue to work daily behind the scenes to improve the business environment and opportunities for you, and to improve US trade and investment here in Kuwait. We have grown as an organization, increased advocacy for you, made sure your voice was heard with the business challenges and obstacles you face provided more business-relevant programs than ever before and found creative ways to adapt to the challenges we all faced during the pandemic restrictions, including the first-ever online speed-networking event in the region to keep our members connected. Though it is difficult for me to leave your Board of Directors, I do so knowing that ABCK is in safe hands with the great leaders that make up your Board and Executive team, and that they will make ABCK even more relevant and value-added for each and every one of you as we continue to move forward.
I thank the Board and Executive team for all they have done, and continue to do for ABCK and its members, and for the amazing support and friendship, they have shown to me over the last few years. I would also like to thank our amazing Ambassador,
H.E. Ambassador Romanowski, and her US Embassy team for their amazing support and daily efforts on your behalf. Their efforts to improve US trade and investment in Kuwait have been unmatched and we are all fortunate to have this amazing team. Most importantly though, I thank you, the members of ABCK that showed the trust and confidence in me to serve on your Board of Directors. I wish you all health, happiness, prosperity, and business success! I will still be in Kuwait and will continue to be a member of ABCK and hope to see you at future events.
Respectfully,
Frank Belonus
