KUWAIT CITY, May 1: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has announced the addition of four new online services on its website — www.manpower. gov.kw — for workers to submit a request to transfer the work permit to another type of visa, reports Al-Rai daily. Two million vaccination target set for end-June

KUWAIT CITY, May 1: With the acceleration of the coronavirus vaccination campaign in the country, the number of vaccinated individuals is expected to increase to two million by the end of June or early July at the latest, reports Al-Rai daily quoting reliable sources. CSC says to create jobs for ‘Kuwaiti engineers’

KUWAIT CITY, April 29: The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has vowed to create job opportunities for Kuwaiti engineering graduates registered in the Central Employment System as soon as possible, reports Al-Jarida daily. KUWAIT CITY, April 29: The Information Systems Department of the Ministry of Health has launched the “IMMUNE” app for viewing and downloading COVID-19 vaccination certificates, reports Aljarida daily. On its Twitter account, the ministry affirmed that it is possible through this app to download vaccination certificates and view the vaccination status of vaccine recipients using the following links -IOS download – https://apps.apple.com/us/app/immune. Total curfew plan ruled out


KUWAIT CITY, May 2: Chairman of the Supreme Advisory Committee for the Coronavirus Pandemic Dr Khaled Al-Jarallah said the total curfew plan has been ruled out as the partial curfew led to improvement of the epidemiological situation in the country, reports Al-Rai daily. SpaceX returns 4 astronauts to Earth with rare night splashdown

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — SpaceX safely returned four astronauts from the International Space Station on Sunday, making the first U.S. crew splashdown in darkness since the Apollo 8 moonshot.

The Dragon capsule parachuted into the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Panama City, Florida, just before 3 a.m., ending the second astronaut flight for Elon Musk’s company.

Honeywell commits to carbon neutrality in operations and facilities by 2035

The company has already reduced the greenhouse gas intensity of its operations and facilities by more than 90% since 2004.

Kuwait’s Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (“CITRA”) has issued Resolution No. 42 of 2021, Concerning Data Privacy Protection Regulation (“Data Privacy Protection Regulations” or the “Regulations”). The Regulations are effective as of their publication date, which was on 4 April 2021, and affect both public and private sectors.

Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) announced a Net Profit of KD7.1 Million for the first quarter of 2021, an increase of 18 percent compared to the same period last year. ABK’s balance sheet remains healthy with strong capital and liquidity reserves. Capital Adequacy Ratio was 17.78 percent, while Total Equity stood at KD 594 Million.
