CONGRATULATIONS TO REV. NICK TAWA

ABCOFLASH congratulates Rev. Nick Tawa on his ordination, which took place on September 21, 2025. Nick Tawa, the pastor of Palos Verdes Baptist Church, was ordained after completing the requirements for an American Baptist-recognized ordination. He presented his paper and answered questions from the ABCOFLASH Ordination Standards Committee, and they unanimously recommended that Palos Verdes Baptist Church ordain Pastor Nick.

Rev. Nick Quient, pastor of First Baptist Church of Palos Verdes, preached the message in the morning service. Several pastor friends were there, and his father, Rev. Gary Tawa, the former pastor of Cerritos Baptist Church, where Nick was raised, gave the ordination prayer. It truly was a great celebration of God's call on Rev. Tawa's life to serve in the pastoral ministry!
