Celebrating the Ministry of Rev. Dr. Scott Arnold.

After serving American Baptist congregations in Michigan, Rhode Island and Massachusetts, Scott and Marilyn followed God's call to serve at First Baptist Church of Los Angles in January of 2020. Scott led the congregation through the pandemic and many other challenges that come with serving in an urban church. He faithfully preached and pastored this historic congregation with grace and servant leadership.

His last Sunday was June 22nd. He preached his final sermon Proverbs 3 about Trusting in the Lord. He was celebrated with a luncheon filled with love and greetings from church leadership and members along with friends and others who were impacted by his ministry throughout the years.

Scott and Marilyn have returned to Michigan to care for his mother and he will continue to find ways to serve in churches there. Scotts deep love for Christ and church ministry have impacted many throughout the years!
