June 2022 | VOLUME 1
WE ARE BUILDING
At a time when California is facing a construction industry labor shortage, ABCSD is thrilled to celebrate our graduating class of 2022. This year we recognize the largest group of graduates in the history of our chapter. 143 highly trained and skilled Apprentices and Craft Trainees have completed their program and will be recognized for their achievements. This year's class includes 22 grads who earned all A's and 11 grads with perfect attendance for all three to five years of their classes. Four graduates earned the designation of "outstanding graduate" achieving both perfect attendance as well as straight-A's.

"We are building! and that's really because of our members and our graduates. This year's graduating class helps secure our industry's future as we all work together to grow, train, and develop our regional workforce." - Shandon Harbour, President & CEO, ABCSD

“Recognizing ABCSD’s largest class of graduates gives me encouragement and hope. These graduates are coming into their trades at a time when the demand is high. They are well-trained, high-quality tradesmen. They are our future leaders and assure the trades keep moving forward” - Kevin Hartnett, ABDSD Training Trust Board Chair and Laser Electric Vice President.

Our training programs impact not only the growth of our industry and workforce they are changing lives.

"I have a bigger future now" - Daniel Jackson, 2022 ABCSD Graduate
