Message from the President
Hello ABRFer’s

Happy New Year everyone, and hope you had a great holiday! And now that the holidays are behind us, many are gearing up for the ABRF Annual Meeting March 27-30 in Palm Springs. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact our lives and the omicron variant has heightened the level of concern for many of us. I have received many inquiries about the annual meeting and have been asked whether there will still be an on-site program. The answer is YES, the on-site component of the meeting will absolutely be happening. With that said, the ABRF 2022 meeting is a hybrid meeting with opportunities to participate both on-site and virtually. Please know that if you register for the on-site meeting, you will be reimbursed for the difference to attend virtually should you need to change your plans.

Meeting attendees will be required to adhere to strict safety precautions. These precautions include masking at all times (except when eating or drinking), proof of vaccine or negative test, and symptom monitoring to attest that you are not exhibiting COVID symptoms. On-site tests will be available. It is our intention that everyone will be safe and only bring back the knowledge we gain and the fond memories we collect from attending an ABRF meeting.

I look forward to seeing everyone in Palm Springs!

Kevin Knudtson

Get an early start your 2022 Annual Meeting experience by signing up for this popular program to learn more about the key principles of Lean Management most relevant to core operations. Specific Lean Management tools and their use in cores will be presented in the context of actual core situations and how the use of these tools can help solve typical problems encountered in cores and improve value for core clients and the work environment. Join ABRF Past President Jay Fox and a team of experts to explore how to apply these concepts to your work every day. Visit the meeting web site for more details and to register today.

ABRF continues to plan for a hybrid annual meeting, following the latest health and safety guidelines. Registrants will be required to share proof of vaccination prior to arrival. More details will be available shortly.
