Participate in the Upcoming Community Roundtables

Join us for a community roundtable discussion focused on how we can build a place where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. We want to hear your “big ideas” about how we can guide future development, natural resource protection, transportation systems, and other related topics.

We will use your input to create a set of guiding principles to inform future content and phases of the Albemarle County Comprehensive Plan Update (AC44) process.

Below is a list of in-person and virtual opportunities to lend your voice to this important topic. Please register in advance. Each event will feature an introductory presentation about the AC44 project followed by small group discussions with community members and staff. The format and presentations will be the same at each event.

About the Comprehensive Plan Update

The Comprehensive Plan is one of the foundational documents that guide our elected officials' decision-making on public infrastructure, amenities, and services. It is also used as a blueprint to bring the mission, vision, and values of our local government to life.

The Plan must be updated periodically to ensure that it reflects the community's vision for the future. This project is one of the best ways you can help to shape how Albemarle County grows and develops in decades to come.
