Mid-Year Check List



As we're already halfway through 2022, it's a good time to remember what you should be doing for ACA and what's around the corner.

Top Priority

Make sure you are identifying your full-time employees. Passport's ACA Management Software includes the Initial and Standard measurement period reports to guide those decisions.

Tools

Do you use features like our Mass Update? For example, if your new plan year just started, you can keep all your 1095-C full-time contributions for the first half of the year, but simultaneously enter a new contribution amount for any effective date.

Passport is here to help every step of the way. From our IRS-certified software to our Full Service option. We have been dealing with ACA compliance since its inception, and have grown with the IRS rules and regulations, with new enhancements annually. Originally developed for our payroll module customers, it has expanded into a stand-alone option.

We don't expect significant changes coming from the IRS, but don't forget that we introduced plain paper printing for employee copies - you don't have to buy paper forms this year!

If you are using the ACA software, you can always ask our team for support or training, and we will do our best to help you tame the ACA beast!

Again, if you are using the ACA software, with electronic filing, you have the option to have Passport proxy file on your behalf. If you're using the software with paper filing, you can upgrade the software to take advantage of proxy filing.

If you are seriously maxed out this year, or any year, you can choose to have Passport take care of the whole year with our Full Service.
