THANK YOU to all who responded to the ACA in-pew appeal this past weekend.

  • Your donation will connect our young people to the church.
  • Feed the hungry.
  • Support visits to the sick and imprisoned.
  • Give shelter to the homeless.
  • Welcome the stranger.
  • Care for the elderly.
  • Educate the young, among many other things.

If you wish to contribute here are some options:

  • Send in a check or cash to the parish office (64 Middagh St ) and clearly mark it as ACA for either ABVM or St Boniface.
  • Use the QR codes posted in the back of the churches.

Mother’s Day Novena of Masses
May is one of the months traditionally dedicated to the honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. During this month we will have our Novena of Masses at both parishes for our mothers, living and deceased, starting on May 8, Mother’s Day. Please send in your names to the office as soon as possible. Email
ABVM Parish Council
Assumption's Parish Council is recruiting three new members to join beginning in the fall. A primary responsibility of the council is to provide counsel, feedback, and input on the pastoral life and administration of our parish. St Boniface Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) Seeking Nominations for Members–At–Large
If you have been seeking to perform an act of service to your faith community, opportunity knocks! Please consider nominating yourself or someone you admire to assist St. Boniface as it emerges from the challenges of the pandemic and looks towards a vibrant future in downtown Brooklyn as our new development project gets underway.

Responsibilities include attending a monthly meeting, being a conduit for communication between community members and the PPC, and assuming a leadership role with new or current initiatives of the PPC.

We are accepting up to six (6) nominations for the election of three (3) positions for a two-year term. We hope to attract a diversity of nominees.

Upcoming 150th Anniversary Events at St Boniface
As part of the 150th anniversary of the parish church, the Oratory Choir will present a concert. The performance includes Bach’s Jesu, meine Freude and Händel’s Dixit Dominus and will be accompanied by a Baroque orchestra on period instruments. The concert lasts just over an hour and admission is free.

Vespers and lecture by Fr Anthony on the history of the parish and church with a reception to follow at 3pm. Lecture - Germans in America and in Brooklyn: The Early Community of St Boniface (1854-1872)

Weekday hours: 7:45am - 12:00 noon Tuesday through Friday. 
Weekday Mass 8:00am Tuesday through Friday. 

Weekend Masses 5:00pm Saturday and 10:00am Sunday 
The church is closed on Mondays.

Confessions Saturday: 4:15pm - 4:45pm at the St. Joseph’s Altar.
