Guided by the story of Tamar, daughter of King David who was raped by her brother, this retreat day and following five-week small group will be offered to explore how this ancient text reflects our current reality. The journey will include dialogue with scripture, music, trauma education, and journaling as we create a visual depiction of moving from pain and loss to resurrection, rising with Jesus as we heal.
