Film Screening and a Conversation about Nationalism and Faith
J.E.S.U.SA. is a new documentary exploring the relationship between Christianity and American nationalism and the violence that emerges from it. The film includes leading voices in this conversation such as Osheta Moore, David Bentley Hart, Hyung Jin "Sean" Moon, and more. Forest Hills will be hosting a free screening of the film on Sunday, March 15 at 6pm, followed by informal conversation. To get free tickets, visit http://foresthillschurch.org/film. Learning tour to Palestine & Israel
MCC invites you to join a learning tour to the Holy Land, a journey that will deeply impact your life. On this June 4-14, 2020 learning tour to Palestine and Israel, you will meet Palestinian Christians who are part of the body of Christ and hear from Israelis and Palestinians about their current struggles, their challenges and joys and what this means for us as North Americans. Volunteer drivers needed (Akron, Pa.)
Do you live in the Lancaster County area? Enjoy driving and meeting new people? If so, please consider being a volunteer driver for MCC. Volunteer drivers pick up and drop off staff and guests at airports and bus/train terminals, most often in Harrisburg, Philadelphia and Lancaster. As a volunteer, you sign up for only as many trips as you want and select the trips that suit your schedule. Volunteers drive MCC vehicles. World's Oldest Ausbund: Bundled Treasure
Discover an important artifact from Anabaptist history on March 30 at 7 pm at Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society. Joe Springer, Curator of the Mennonite Historical Library, Goshen, Indiana, reveals the Ausbund hymnal. Attendance is by donation. The event streams online. Access to the live stream costs $10. Family History Heyday
New one day format for those that enjoy our Family History Conference. For the curious hobbyist & the committed researcher.
