First Alberta health-care workers get COVID-19 vaccine

Health-care workers in Edmonton and Calgary are the first Albertans to be immunized against COVID-19.

Fiscal report card improves local decision-making

The new tool allows Albertans to view, explore and compare financial and statistical information, including property tax rates, major revenue and expense categories, and assessment values and debt values, for all of Alberta’s 338 municipalities.

Minister of Energy Sonya Savage and Associate Minister of Natural Gas and Electricity Dale Nally issued a statement on the federal government’s newly released hydrogen strategy.

Simplified process for claiming home office expenses for Canadians working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic

Employees who worked from home more than 50% of the time over a period of a least four consecutive weeks in 2020 due to COVID-19 will now be eligible to claim the home office expenses deduction for 2020.

POST Promise/Promesse APRES is a national, bilingual, private sector-led initiative designed to help Canadians confidently and safely shop and work in local businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

SafeDay Canada resources

The Alberta Chambers of Commerce has partnered with SafeDay Canada, an Edmonton-based PPE company, to provide education, services and supplies to more than 25,000 businesses across Alberta.
