ACC Weekly Announcements December 17, 2020
Pastors, Church Administrators and Secretaries, Bulletin Editors:

These weekly announcements are meant to be a helpful resource, especially for those of you who put your congregations' bulletins together on a weekly basis. If there are ways we could present this information more effectively please don't hesitate to pass on your ideas or give feedback.

Some churches forward the following information and community life announcements to their members using email while others post various events in their weekly bulletin, on their church website, or Facebook page. This and past columns are available on the ACC webpage at atlanticcoastconference.net/ba.

Please let us know if there are additional ways we can assist you as we serve together.

For active pastors and chaplains:
Grants for counseling and spiritual direction
Feeling anxious, stressed, angry, tired or fatigued? Feel like you weren’t quite prepared for the stressors and collective trauma of the COVID-19 storm? You aren’t alone.

ACC's Strengthening Resilience Program provides pastors and chaplains of Atlantic Coast Conference up to five free sessions with a counselor or spiritual director as part of the process of building resilience. We have arrangements with three providers (meet them here) but the program can also cover the cost of continuing with your own counselor or spiritual director.

Submit the application or any questions to your converence minister or to the ACC office at office@atlanticcoastconference.net.

A number of these are pastors and members of Mennonite congregations. Suggested donation of $25. Register HERE.

Advent at Home
"At a moment of time when many of our congregations feel distant, a common practice and resource can bring us together. So churches, consider giving this to everyone in your congregation, not just the families with children!”
