ACC recognizes best of Alberta business

EDMONTON – The Alberta Chambers of Commerce (ACC) proudly hosted the 32nd annual Alberta Business Awards of Distinction (ABAD) gala at the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel on the evening of June 15th. This esteemed event recognized and celebrated the exceptional achievements of organizations and entrepreneurs who have made remarkable contributions to Alberta's business landscape.

ABAD 2023 brought together industry leaders, esteemed guests, and influential figures to honour the recipients in thirteen distinguished categories. Among the coveted awards was the Alberta's Best of Business Award of Distinction, presented to a standout business selected from the finalists across all award categories. The recipients of the 2023 Alberta Business Awards of Distinction were unveiled during the magnificent ABAD Gala, emceed by Lance Johnson from Amplomedia and Jesse Shewchuk from Modern Muse Media.

Shauna Feth, ACC President and CEO: "On behalf of the entire Alberta Chambers of Commerce network, our heartfelt congratulations to all the Alberta Business Awards of Distinction recipients this year. Your outstanding achievements truly embody the spirit of excellence and leadership in Alberta's business community."

Over the past thirty-two years hosting these awards, ACC has had the privilege of honouring over 315 award recipients and more than one thousand finalists. "These awards are a celebration of the remarkable accomplishments of our province's business leaders. We applaud their hard work, resilience, and their ongoing efforts to make Alberta a thriving and prosperous place to live and work."

The success of the ABAD ceremony would not have been possible without the unwavering support of its presenting partners: MNP, Chambers Plan, Postmedia Solutions, CPA Alberta, and Canadian National Railway (CN). In addition, valuable in-kind support was provided by ASET, Air Canada, Purposeful Careers, Purdy's Chocolatier, Infinite Event Services, and Rig Hand Distillery.

Feth further expressed, "We extend our gratitude to all the businesses nominated for these awards and the partners who make recognizing these community leaders possible. Their contributions play a vital role in driving economic growth and enhancing the overall business environment in Alberta."

The Alberta Chambers of Commerce once again congratulates all the recipients of the 2023 ABAD, whose exceptional accomplishments serve as an inspiration to the entire business community.
