ACC recognizes best of Alberta business
EDMONTON – This evening, the Alberta Chambers of Commerce (ACC) held its 30th annual Alberta Business Awards of Distinction (ABAD). Emceed by communicator, journalist and Global News anchor Jennifer Crosby, the event recognized ongoing business excellence and leadership in Alberta.

For the past 30 years, the ACC has received countless submissions from remarkable businesses across all regions and sectors of the province. Recipients of the 2021 Alberta Business Awards of Distinction were announced at tonight's second successive virtual awards ceremony. With the support of MNP, Chamber Plan, Syncrude, Postmedia Solutions, the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta (CPA Alberta), and Infinite Event Services, the event was a great success.

“Over the past 15 months, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought many changes and challenges to the business community. Harnessing their entrepreneurial spirit, Alberta businesses have continued to pursue opportunities in order to keep growing and thriving,” says Ken Kobly, ACC President and CEO. “Each and every ABAD nominee deserves recognition. Congratulations to all award recipients!”

ABAD's thirteen award categories recognize achievements of organizations and entrepreneurs who enrich Alberta's communities with their outstanding contributions. In addition, Alberta's Best of Business Award of Distinction is a prestigious award presented to a finalist chosen from among all categories.
