Pathways Alliance - Clear the Air

The Pathways Alliance - Clear the Air campaign is a concerted effort to bring awareness to the Pathways Alliance and the organization’s multi-phased efforts to steadily reduce emissions and achieve its goal of net zero by 2050.

This campaign acknowledges that the oil sands represent a large share of our country’s emissions. It also recognizes that we must work collaboratively to help Canada meet its climate goals and deliver the world’s preferred barrel of responsibly-produced oil.

Statement by the Prime Minister on Small Business Week

“Today marks the beginning of Small Business Week, an opportunity for us to celebrate the creativity, dedication, and innovation of Canadian entrepreneurs, and small and medium-sized business owners.

From your local grocery store you visit every weekend, the coffee shops you pass on your way into work, and the corner store or dépanneur that always seems to be open, small businesses are the heart of our communities and the backbone of our economy. They provide the goods and services we need, and employ over 10 million people across the country."

Strengthening Canada’s position as a leader in 5G and digital innovation: Prime Minister Trudeau

The next generation of 5G wireless technology is expected to add $40 billion annually to Canada’s economy in the next four years.

“The project we’re announcing will help connect Canadians to the jobs of today and tomorrow. It will bring economic benefits to the National Capital Region and stimulate Canada’s tech ecosystem. This is about building a strong economy and a better future for everyone."
