August Commission Updates

Dear Commissioners,

Greetings from DC, where the commission preparations are in full swing! We are excited to have you all back in person in just a few weeks.

We have selected the Dupont Circle Hotel to provide a comfortable stay during your upcoming commission meeting in Washington DC. The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to Dupont Circle, within a 10-minute walk to the ACCET office. Many of you will remember the Dupont from previous commission meetings.

Arrival & Departure Details

Important! We need to know your travel plans. Please add your check-in and check-out dates by clicking on the list below. We need everyone's arrival/departure dates by the end of this week.

If you haven't arranged your flights yet, this would be a good time to do so - and help us avoid high(er) fees. Thank you!

Meals

We will provide breakfast and lunch at ACCET (Monday - Wednesday), similar to what we have done before the pandemic. Please join your fellow commissioners and ACCET staff for dinner on Monday and Tuesday. Details to follow.

Laptop with Ethernet access

Our Wifi capabilities are undergoing an upgrade. However, please bring a laptop that can be plugged in via ethernet cable to conduct your file review and commission work. Let me know as soon as possible if you will need an ACCET loaner laptop.

I will follow up with additional information about commissioner file assignments in the next few days. However, feel free to have a look at the commission site for up-to-date information, including a list of institutions on the agenda (53 commission files + 15 follow-up visits) and the daily schedules and draft agendas.
