US Census Bureau Talks Trust and Safety
Concerned about misinformation, fraud, and security issues involving the 2020 Census? The U.S. Census Bureau has taken several measures to protect Census data collections and ensure that accurate information is being disseminated to the public. The Bureau has partnered with government, non-profit, and business groups across the country to dispel misinformation and disinformation associated with participating in the 2020 Census. How Filling Out Your 2020 Census Can Help Georgia Programs
The primary charge of the U.S. Census is to establish an accurate count of the nation’s population. While the Census is a constitutionally-mandated survey, many citizens are unaware of the impact it can have within their state.The results of this survey determine how resources are dispersed within communities, federally and locally, which makes it imperative for citizens to participate. Failing to properly prepare for and promote the Census in your community can lead to an undercount which will impact your community for a 10-year period following the Census.
