ACCP & ABCP Sign a Collaborative Memorandum of Agreement
The American College of Clinical Pharmacology® (ACCP) and the American Board of Clinical Pharmacology (ABCP) are pleased to announce the execution of a collaborative Memorandum of Agreement.
“This newly signed Memorandum of Agreement between ACCP and ABCP launches an exciting collaboration to advance clinical pharmacology. Bringing the unique and essential discipline of clinical pharmacology to impact healthcare demands sustained excellence in clinical pharmacology training programs and continuing professional education. This ACCP-ABCP collaboration strengthens each organization’s educational mission through resurrecting and enhancing the clinical pharmacology review course in a genuine collaboration. In addition, the closer linkage of ACCP’s broad educational programming expertise and ABCP’s evaluation focus on training program accreditation and board certification enhances the goals of each organization”, said Craig W. Hendrix, MD, Chairman of ABCP.

"The vision of ACCP is to be the premier educational and scientific network of clinical pharmacology professionals in all stages of career development and practice areas. Our collaboration with ABCP therefore represents a natural synergy and we look forward to partnering with ABCP to provide joint educational programming and initiatives for ACCP members, future diplomates, and the global clinical pharmacology community", said Dionna J. Green, MD, President of ACCP.
ACCP and ABCP will work together to create educational content for the benefit of the global clinical pharmacology community. We look forward with great anticipation to the development and dissemination of new educational content, including the Clinical Pharmacology Review Course, which will be offered every other year at the ACCP Annual Meeting.
