As we usher in the new year, ACEC Alaska is excited to welcome you to a year filled with legislative focus, new opportunities for membership involvement and engagement, and continued quality educational sessions. Welcome to the 2024 Legislative Session. I have created a bill tracking spreadsheet for ACEC Alaska with bills related to consulting engineers. I will continually update this list and add comments detailing elements of the bill, action on the bill, and observations. As new bills are introduced, they will be added to the bill tracking spreadsheet.

Additionally, if members have comments on one of the highlighted bills or if you know of an issue that is pending before the state legislature, please contact ACEC Alaska. Your value-added technical expertise is essential to our Juneau lobbying team.

The Second Session begins January 16, and the 121^st day is May 15.
