Call for Entries_ R. Berl Elder Scholarship
Scholarships Available for Student Employees of ACEC Georgia Member Firms

ACEC Georgia awards scholarships to students enrolled in engineering schools in Georgia through the R. Berl Elder Memorial Scholarship Trust. In the last few years, scholarships have been presented to students who are employees of ACEC Georgia member firms and interested in pursuing a career in consulting engineering. 

Additional scholarships are also available to engineering students through the Georgia Engineering Foundation .

Deadline to apply is August 31, 2018.

What you need to know:
  • Innovative transportation projects in Georgia are nominated by the Owner and awarded to the primary engineer/engineering firm
  • Nine categories to choose from
  • First phase of the submission process requires completion of this free, short form by August 13
  • If selected as a top three category finalist, you'll be asked to submit additional information by October 1
  • Winner of each category, plus one Grand Award Winner, will be announced during the 2018 Georgia Transportation Summit on November 9 in Athens, Ga.

Dr. Karl Duff will be the guest speaker and share more about specific risk management strategies and best practices specific to geotechnical engineering. Like all ACEC Georgia Practice Area Forums, this meeting is free to all members and offers an opportunity to discuss the issues and challenges common to each discipline.

This annual day on the green is just around the corner.
