Industry Sector Updates
Buildings
Among the opportunities faced by the ACEC-SK buildings sector is providing feedback to the provincial government regarding revision of UBAS. Deadline to submit to ACEC-SK is Friday, January 10, 2020.

Transportation
The Transportation Committee remains very active behind-the-scenes to look out for the interests of the consulting engineering industry, most recently at the Tri-Party meeting level.


Environment/Water Resources
The Environment/Water Resources Committee continues its collaboration with many stakeholders, including meeting in early December with leadership teams from SaskWater and Water Security Agency.

Industry Resources
In addition to maintaining well-established relationships with Crowns such as SaskPower and SaskEnergy, the committee’s focus this fall has been to grow relationships with members of SIMSA.
