The Government of Saskatchewan announced the Builders’ Lien (Prompt Payment) Amendment Act, 2019 will be proclaimed into force on March 1, 2022. While Engineers are “exempt” from the legislative benefits, they play a critical role in the process as “payment certifiers”.

ACEC-SK Rolls out COVID Policy
ACEC-SK has developed a policy that outlines how the association, and its representatives, will operate to support and enhance Government of Saskatchewan’s on-going measures to control the spread of COVID-19. This policy is applicable to all ACEC-SK staff and volunteers.
Rather than high-level information shared in a newsletter update, in 2022 ACEC-SK will begin offering specific written committee updates in articles distributed directly and exclusively to committee members.
