AAPCA1 & ACEs Aware
For the past year, California Chapter 1, AAP (AAPCA1) has worked diligently to bring you the latest on the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) initiative, screening and trauma informed care. We hope you have benefitted from our communication and resource sharing! Although our bi-monthly emails are taking a hiatus, we will continue to share new resources on our chapter ACEs Aware webpage:
We would like to thank YOU for continuing to engage in our content!

We had requested your feedback on our communication over the year, and ~80 of you provided us some very valuable insight. We are truly grateful! The raffle winners are:
Barbara Gardner, MD, FAAP
Fredrick Herman, MD
Helene Walters, MD, FAAP
Julieanna Sahouria, MD
Nhat Pham, DO

We will be reaching out to the raffle winners individually with the prizes.

With the feedback from surveys and focus groups, we compiled our findings from our ACEs Aware Communication Grant, presented as a poster at American Academy of Pediatric's 2021 National Conference & Exhibition (NCE):
Finally, we wish to thank our incredible thought leaders who dedicated their time and energy to building the messaging and resources to you!
