Dear Fellow ACFI Members
It's hard to believe another year has passed by so quickly! Let me first thank you for your continued support of the ACFI. Without members like you, we simply couldn't have accomplished everything we did in 2019. The year has been filled with many milestones and accomplishments. It gives me great pleasure to highlight a few of them:
- Presentation of the 2nd in the Fraud Management Series of workshops by Alan Tait (now available online)
- Reprinted the Mock Trial Series of DVDs (even more relevant today than when first produced
- Successful 21th Annual ACFI Fraud Conference
- Introduction of electronic proxies for the 2019 AGM allowing us to finally update our By-Laws and Articles of Incorporation
- Anniversary of the first year of our new website
- Introduction of a Practice Session for Certification Exam Writers
- Introduction of online production of CPD and Post Secondary Course Certificates
- Initiation of the review and update process for the 10th Edition ACFI Fraud Manual review (Thanks to Norm Groot, Maureen Ward, Alan Tait, Paula Delano, Mark Flewwelling, Dave Oswald, Varoujan Arman, Dale Nelson, Kimberly Thoms, Erin Egeland, & Chetan Sehgal)
- Recruitment of more than 30 great speakers, including the keynote, for our 2020 Annual Fraud Conference has been completed.
Of course our achievements have been facilitated by our Executive Director, Enola Stoyle. The ACFI Board of Directors formally recognizes Enola's efforts again this year for all of her hard work.
I would also acknowledge and extend our appreciation to all of our sponsors named below. Their financial support is a key factor in our continued success.

decision. Based on these decisions, it should be obvious to fraud victims that resorting to the criminal justice system for a restitution order is high risk and should be considered when recovery is not otherwise foreseeable.
