Fraud risk is an operational cost of concern for all private and public sector organizations. Prudent organizations invest in fraud risk management to comply with legislative requirements and meet stakeholder expectations. Unfortunately, despite such investments, frauds continue to occur, and victimized organizations incur reputational loss and long-term costs, hence the total loss often exceeds the actual fraudulent loss incurred. To assist organizations with enhancing their existing fraud mitigation strategies, this course will review successful strategies to mitigate fraud risk and provide attendees with a template to assist them with implementing strategies tailored to their specific operations.
