ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA - On Saturday, September 20, 2025, at approximately 5:40 am, career and volunteer units from Albemarle County Fire Rescue responded to the report of a fire in the 400 block of Premier Circle.
The first fire suppression apparatus arrived on the scene approximately 3 minutes later to discover smoke and flames showing from the front of the building. Responding crews from the Charlottesville Fire Department and career and volunteer units from Albemarle County Fire Rescue were able to extinguish the fire by 7:34 am. The building was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Albemarle County Fire Marshal's Office, but does not appear suspicious in nature.
