Arts Council~Haliburton Highlands
June 2022 Newsletter
News from our members
If you are looking for something special to do this summer, come join us on the Art Trail. The Art in Public Spaces Committee of the Arts Council~Haliburton Highlands is hosting an art trail, located in public venues throughout the Highlands. The art trail will showcase the amazing talent of our local artists. Focusing on the theme of Renewal, the trail will feature artwork that evokes a sense of re-awakening in the Highlands, as we emerge from the isolation and restrictions of the Covid 19 pandemic.
The show will open on July 1st and continue until October 15th. Tour the beautiful Haliburton Highlands either virtually or in-person and visit the host venues along the trail. More information will be available shortly on the Arts Council website at www.haliburtonarts.on.ca. Click on the Art Trail page. Pick up a map guide brochure from any of the host venues, or download the PocketSights app from the Arts Council’s website. The brochure and the PocketSights app provide information on the host venue locations, the participating artists and inspirational insights. Come join us on the Trail!

Special thanks to our sponsors Haliburton County Development Corporation, the County of Haliburton and Canoe FM.
