NEW WEBSITE DETAILS

Our New Website will be rolled out beginning Tuesday at 12:00 am.  As with most if not all new websites there will be "growing pains".  Please kindly make us aware of any issues you encounter.  We want this site to be easier for you to manage your content and resources.

What you will need to do to access your account

Establish a password
  • Go to handymanassociation.org and click Account/Login
  • Click "Lost Password?"
  • Enter the email address you registered with
  • Check your email inbox for instructions

*If you have recently changed your email address and never updated your ACHP account, you will not receive an email.  Contact us with your new email address so we can update the system so you can continue logging in to your account.  service@handymanassociation.org

The Look

The new site still has most of the "bells and whistles" but its been streamlined a bit to cut-out the fat as you will.  This will make it easier for you and customers to navigate.

Have you ever video recorded your home improvements and repair skills?  Would you like to?  If so, ACHP has a video "how to links" in the Members Area that could use more member videos.  It helps others visualize correct practices and allows you to give back to our craft; "give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime".  Please pass your skills along to preserve what others passed to you.

Are your Customers Able to Find You?
Our search requests continue to increase significantly.  The new search engine installed in August was indeed what the doctor ordered.  This means more and more folks are browsing our directory listings.  However, many of you have not updated your listing in a while.  In some cases, customers are having difficulties reaching you because of outdated information in your listing.  How do we know this?  Some of them are calling ACHP.  Makes us wonder how many customers are reluctant to go the extra mile thus contacting someone else with a working or displayed phone number, etc.
 
To fix this problem:
Log in to your member account and:
  1. Ensure you have access, if not contact us immediately. 
  2. Click on "My Directory Listings"  then "Edit".  Ensure your information is up to date.
  3. Enter a city, state, zip code in the display map. If not, the search engine will not be able to find you by zip code search.
Ensure your email and phone number is correct, etc.  Add more unique keywords.
