Norwegian Air to launch low-cost Edinburgh-US routes in 2017
Budget flights to Boston and other United States cities will be launched from Edinburgh next spring, Norwegian Air has announced.
Other destinations could include New York, San Francisco and Washington DC, with return fares starting from around £200.

Frankfurt tests curved approach procedures
Lufthansa together with German air traffic control and Fraport are to jointly conduct tests of new satellite-based approach procedures at Frankfurt Airport.
The aim of these tests is to prove the advantages of curved and steeper approach procedures in the vicinity of airports.

Heathrow Airport has collaborated with SITA to offer passengers new on-demand entertainment before they board their plane.
The two new 'EntertainMe' kiosks installed at the gate level of Heathrow's Terminal 5, feature top film releases, television programs, newspapers and magazines which passengers can pay for and download directly to their iPhones or iPads.
Solar Impulse lands in Pennsylvania
The sun-powered aircraft Solar Impulse has landed in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, after a near-17-hour flight.
The plane began the stage on Wednesday in Dayton, Ohio, travelling 1,044km to reach the East Coast waypoint.
