International Legal Developments
Europe
The English High Court recently interpreted the meaning of control of an issuer for the purpose of noteholder enforcement. Click here to read the background of the case and a summary of the decision.
 
In April 2017, the Croatian government adopted the Act on Extraordinary Administration Proceedings in Companies of Systemic Importance for the Republic of Croatia to set a framework for extraordinary, pre-insolvency restructuring proceedings. Canada  
In Solar Power Network Inc. v. ClearFlow Energy Finance Corp., the Ontario Superior Court of Justice recently handed down the only Canadian decision to date considering nominal annual rate conversion formulas.
