In Abuzaid v. Anani, LLC, the Court of Appeals of Texas vacated the trial court's award of exemplary damages in a case involving the fraudulent filing of UCC financing statements. Please click here to learn more.

In In re: Caprock Oil Tools, Inc., the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas determined that a former equityholder's claim in respect of payments under a stock redemption agreement was subject to mandatory subordination in bankruptcy. Please click here to learn more.
