Summer Virtual Membership Meetings

We are excited to virtually see everyone in a few weeks at the ACMHAI Summer membership meetings August 10 and 11, 2023 by zoom!

COMMUNITY REPORTS:

During the Thursday Business Meeting, three ACMHAI member organizations will provide a high level overview of best practices/hot topics for their respective communities. If your organization would like to provide a brief (1-2 paragraph) written report to be included in the meeting packet, please email it to jdart@acmhai.org by August 1st.

ACMHAI Seeks Response from DDD Director on Abuse at State Developmental Centers

The ACMHAI I/DD Committee, chaired by Chris Myers, Livingston County Mental Health and Developmental Disability Boards, sent a letter to IDHS DDD Director Tonya Piephoff in regards to the abuse at the State Developmental Centers. The I/DD Committee is seeking a written response from the Division on plans to address this urgent matter.

We will keep members informed on any correspondence and/or meetings with the Division regarding this issue.
