This unique evening is part of ACMS’s Self-Care in Healthcare and Physician Wellness initiatives, designed to bring physicians and community members together for connection, reflection, and rejuvenation.

Set in an intimate venue, the evening will feature casual conversation, light refreshments, and a special live opera performance – a reminder of the restorative role the arts play in our health and well-being.

Event Details:

  • Free for ACMS Members
  • $50 for Physician Guests (Non-Members)

This event is more than a performance – it’s an opportunity to pause, recharge, and celebrate the vital intersection of art and healing.

Protecting Immunization Access in Pennsylvania: Proposed Legislation and What You Should Know

Pennsylvania may soon make vaccines more accessible and affordable. House Bill 1828 and Senate Bill 989 would require most insurers to cover recommended immunizations with no patient cost-sharing when delivered in-network. The bills also empower the PA Department of Health to update vaccine coverage and enforce compliance among insurers. If enacted, these measures could improve patient access, align coverage with clinical guidance, and reduce preventable illness across the state.

PAMED supports HB 1828 and urges healthcare professionals to advocate for these lifesaving policies. Jenny Bender, MPH, BSN, RN, CIC, Chair of the Allegheny County Immunization Coalition, breaks down the bills’ purpose, their importance, and how you can help advance this critical legislation.
