ACMS Women Physician's Committee Event

The ACMS Women Physician's Committee invites you to attend its first event of 2026. This networking event will feature a panel of experts who will discuss perimenopause, including hormone testing, peptides, pharmacologic and lifestyle interventions, and practical strategies attendees can apply in both patient care and personal health.

While this event is tailored toward women physicians, all physicians - including men - are welcome to attend. The event is open to members and non-members. Registration includes CME, an open bar, a sit-down dinner at Eddie Merlot’s (with validated parking), and networking with local ACMS physicians.

If you haven’t yet had a chance to complete this important survey about ACMS and our future strategic priorities, we encourage you to do so within the next week. More than 125 members have already shared their input, and we would welcome yours as well. The survey is anonymous.

ACMS Issues Statement on Vaccine Schedule

In early January, the ACMS, the Allegheny County Health Department, and the Allegheny County Immunization Coalition, stood united in concern about recent federal changes to the U.S. childhood immunization schedule - changes that depart from decades of evidence-based, expert-driven public health guidance and risk confusion, lower uptake, and widening inequities in protection.

Our joint statement outlines these concerns and reaffirms our commitment to evidence-based immunization in Allegheny County.
