ACMS to Host In-Person Learning Courses to Help Meet License Renewal Requirements

As you probably know by now, it's a license renewal year. DOs must renew by November 30th. MDs must renew by December 31st. Both DOs and MDs are required to fulfill certain CME requirements in order to renew their license. The ACMS will host two in-person courses before the end of the year to help our members fulfill the "mandated child abuse recognition and reporting" credits and the "prescribing of opioids" training.

MD's and DO's are required to earn 12 hours in the areas of patient safety and risk management. PAMED recently released CME Consult, their annual publication that helps physicians earn patient safety and risk management CME. Visit the PAMED website to access CME Consult 2022 (login required).
