ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA - At approximately 8 pm, units from Albemarle County Police Department and Albemarle County Fire Rescue were dispatched to the 1600 block of Rio Hill Drive for a shots fired incident with injuries. At this time, we are asking the community to avoid the area as officers investigate and secure the scene.
This remains an active investigation by ACPD’s Criminal Investigation Division, and information will be released when it becomes available.
