Redesign Implementation Team Meeting
By the time many of you read this, the Redesign Implementation Team will be meeting in Decatur at the national offices. They will spend three days planning for their work for the coming year, clarifying the specific tasks that need to be addressed, and designating responsibilities and action plans for each identified task/process. Keep them in your thoughts as we expect them to go home tired from an intense couple of days of very hard work on behalf of ACPE!

A Poem for Reflection
I want to thank all of you who have taken time to express your predication for the poetry shared. Last week, two folks sent me the same poem, and I'm taking it as a sign from the universe that it should be shared widely! Many of you may know this poem, and for those who don't, I hope you also share it with your students and/or colleagues:
An ACPE National Celebration!
While we believe it must have happened some time in our last fifty years, the national office staff threw a baby shower for one of our newest team members, Zizi Krasteva. She and her husband are expecting baby boy Danial in February, their third child (two daughters, one 10 and one 5). We can't recall the last time a national staff member had a baby, and the whole team is excited for Zizi and her family! Here's a picture from the shower:
Just for fun
If you haven't discovered "Shots of Awe," please allow me to introduce you to these remarkable, fast-paced, thoughtful videos that are great conversation starters. Jason Silva thinks like a jazz improvisational artist. Here's a sample: How Primal Trauma Resurfaces Throughout Our Lives.
