To the Board of Directors, Dr. Matthew Rhodes, Chair, Leadership, Staff, and Members of ACPE,
On behalf of the Executive Director of American Baptist Home Mission Societies and CEO of Judson Press, Dr. Jeffrey Haggray, the Ecclesiastical Endorser & Director of Spiritual Caregivers, Dr. Patricia Murphy, and all of the American Baptist Members of ACPE, we extend our deepest condolences to the ACPE family on the sudden passing of your Executive Director, Lynnett Glass.
We were saddened to learn of this unexpected loss and join you in mourning a leader whose dedication, vision, and commitment to spiritual care and education touched countless lives. Through her faithful service, Lynnett helped strengthen the ministry of chaplaincy and pastoral education, leaving a legacy that will continue to inspire those who seek to care for others with compassion, wisdom, and grace.
During this difficult time, we pray that God will comfort her family, ACPE Staff, colleagues, members of ACPE, friends, and all who have been blessed by her leadership. While words cannot fully ease the pain of such a loss, we trust in God's abiding presence and the promise of Christ's resurrection.
We take comfort in the words of Scripture: “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18 (NRSV)
May the peace of God surround you, sustain you, and grant you strength in the days ahead. As you celebrate Lynnett's life and ministry, may you find hope in the many lives she touched and in the assurance that nothing can separate us from the love of God.
Please know that you are in our prayers and that we stand with you in this season of grief and remembrance.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Rev. Dr. Patricia Murphy, BCC

Dear ACPE,
I'm writing on behalf of all of us at the Association of Muslim Chaplains to extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences at the loss of ACPE's Executive Director, Dr. Lynnett Glass.
I can only imagine the grief and loss you all must be experiencing at this devastating loss.
I only had the opportunity to meet Lynnett once and very briefly this past summer at the APC conference and was looking forward to spending time with her at the upcoming ACPE conference, to which she had kindly invited me.
I know our members who have been in partnership with you all over the years are in deep shock and grief as well.
Please know that our sincerest prayers and well wishes are with you all at ACPE in this difficult time.
We are here to support in any way that we can.

Dear ACPE Board, Staff, Members, and the Glass Family,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff, and members of CASC/ACSS, I want to extend our deepest sympathies following the death of our friend, your leader, colleague, and loved one, Lynnett.
In the days leading up to her passing, our community held Lynnett, her family, and the ACPE community in our thoughts and prayers. We had hoped alongside you, and we now grieve alongside you.
While no words can ease the pain of such a loss, please know that you are not alone. As colleagues, partners, and friends, we accompany you in your sorrow and hold you in our hearts during this difficult time.
The relationship between ACPE and CASC/ACSS extends well beyond our formal partnership. It has been shaped through years of collaboration, shared leadership, mutual support, and deep friendships. Lynnett's leadership contributed to that relationship, and her impact will be felt by many throughout both our organizations and the wider spiritual care community.
I also want to express my gratitude for the kindness and warmth that ACPE leadership has extended toward our Canadian community during this time. In our recent conversations, members of your leadership team have spoken of their appreciation for the support they have received from CASC/ACSS, the value they place on our longstanding partnership, and the friendships that connect our organizations. Their words have been deeply meaningful, and they are a testament to the strength of the relationship we share.
Please be assured of our continued prayers, support, and care in the days and weeks ahead. We hold Lynnett's family, the ACPE Board, staff, and members close as you mourn her loss, celebrate her life, and carry forward the work to which she devoted herself.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Jeff Chant

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On behalf of the National Conference on Ministry to the Armed Forces (NCMAF), I extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire ACPE community upon the passing of your Executive Director, Lynnett Glass.
The loss of a respected leader is felt deeply throughout an organization, particularly one whose work is devoted to preparing and supporting those who provide spiritual care to people during some of life's most difficult and vulnerable moments. We recognize with gratitude Lynnett's leadership and service to ACE and the important work she shared with colleagues across the chaplaincy and spiritual care community.
NCMAF and our member endorsing organizations value the vital role ACPE plays in the education and formation of professional chaplains. We were honored to have Lynnett present with us at our NCMAF annual conference this past January and grateful for her support and partnership. We join the many individuals and organizations who mourn Lynnett's passing and who give thanks for her contributions to the important ministry of professional chaplaincy.
Please convey our sympathies to Lynnett's family, friends, colleagues, and all within the ACPE community who knew and worked alongside her. May you find strength in one another, comfort in the memories you share, and peace as you honor her life and legacy.
With deepest sympathy,
