Milestone Anniversary: Phaedra Yount - 20 Years of Service

Phaedra Yount joined ACRI’s research administrative team in 2002 as the institute’s first science writer. As the research enterprise grew and the institute expanded the support services offered to its researchers, Phaedra moved to a leadership role where she led the proposal development team and oversaw ACRI communications for 17 years. Recently Phaedra was promoted to ACRI’s Vice President of Administration and Facilities where she now oversees the activities of the Facilities, Regulatory Compliance, Grants and Contracts, and Contract Attorney teams. She also oversees the ACRI budgeting process, faculty researcher recruitment and retention, and collaborative interactions with the Arkansas Children’s Foundation. Phaedra notes that what she enjoys most about her job is being surrounded by so many great people who have made it their life’s work making the lives of children better.
