You may be wondering what an ACRO SEAL is – they are those individuals in radiation oncology who are not physicians, but ARE leaders in their organization. This includes admins, therapists, nurses, physicists and anyone else involved in the business side of rad onc. We ask for abstracts on a number of topics, and use these to develop our in-person conference.
Example topics from the last few years include: staff engagement, team culture, quality, strategy, staffing, patient experience, billing and value. If chosen for an oral presentation, authors can expect a 15-20 minute presentation with discussion afterwards. Those chosen to display a poster will be highlighted in the exhibit hall during the Conference.
Limited travel grants will be available for SEALs to attend the March 13-16, 2024 Conference in Orlando! Details to be announced at a later date.
How your work will be presented:
Selected abstracts will be presented to an audience of established professionals in the field of radiation oncology. This is a great opportunity for RadOnc leaders and practice administrators to present research in an intimate and focused setting.
