Register Now to Participate!

Please join us! The American Cancer Society National Lung Cancer Roundtable (ACS NLCRT), GO2 for Lung Cancer (GO2), Radiology Health Equity Coalition (RHEC), and American College of Radiology (ACR) are partnering once again for the third annual National Lung Cancer Screening Day (“National LCS Day”) on Saturday, November 9, 2024.

ACS NLCRT is promoting this lifesaving opportunity to screen more individuals and raise awareness about lung cancer screening. The Veterans Health Administration is also committed to promote this event to veterans and their families throughout the month of November. In celebration and recognition of this initiative’s incredible progress, we have launched a brand-new National Lung Cancer Screening Day website, which includes registration information, resources, links to order "swag" and the ability to view which centers in your area have signed up to participate.

Materials will only be available to those who sign-up via the: Registration Form.

In order to access the materials multiple times over the next several months, make sure to select "send me a copy of my responses" at the end of the form. Additional information can be found on nlcrt.org.

Let's work together to increase lung cancer screening and save lives!

Colorectal Cancer Screening in the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church

With the support of the American Cancer Society (ACS), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research (KPCHR), the Atlanta East District of the AME Church developed tailored colorectal cancer screening messages and an action plan for sharing the messages. Church members, healthcare professionals, and other partners came together to create locally relevant and culturally appropriate screening messages based on scientific health information.
