Tuition Assistance for 2020-21
ACS participates in FACTS, a grant application program for our school. Completion of the FACTS application is a requirement for next year's enrollment if you are expecting a remaining balance at the end of the school year or you will be requesting tuition assistance. Families who wish to apply for tuition assistance will need to use the FACTS application format online at
The application information will be easily accessible data from your 2019 tax return, along with financial accounts, and will require that copies of confirming tax documents be sent to the FACTS center. The FACTS organization will analyze the information of each applicant. They will provide our school with recommended grant amounts based on need and financial status. Parents who have children in more than one of the participating schools need only to fill out the application one time-the information will be available to other Christian schools where their children attend. Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2020. The application fee will be paid by the participating schools.
ACS middle school students have been working so hard in preparation for the upcoming play
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
. The performances will be February 7 at 7pm and a matinee on February 8 at 3pm, both at the APS Ceglarek Auditorium. The kids look forward to sharing their God-given talents and the results of their hard work and dedication!
Ticket prices are:
$3 for students,$5 for adult and $15 cap per family.

ACS is hosting a Robotics Club
for students in grades 4-6. The Club will be held in March. Please see the enrollment form/sign-up document below. Due to the large cost of starting a program and purchasing the equipment, the cost will be $25 per student. This will cover 8 sessions, which includes two Saturday sessions. Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences
will be held February 18 and 20 from 5:00-8:15 pm. An information sheet will be sent home with your child this week. You only need to return this sheet
you have a time that conferences will not work for you. Please be sure to return the sheet no later than Friday, February 7. A copy of the form can also be found here ->
Middle School Parent-Teacher Conferences
The middle school teachers will send a Sign-Up Genius link via email
the elementary conference schedule is sent home. Middle School conferences are not mandatory; you will only be assigned a conference time
you sign up on the link! Specific information about how the sign-up will work will be communicated in the coming weeks.
ACS is in need of someone to coach our 3-5th grade boys and girls running club team this year.
The season begins near the end of March and concludes in May with a 5K. Practices would be two times a week. If you or someone you know would be interested in coaching please contact us so that we can continue this great program. You may contact Mrs. Lamer with any questions:
Moms in Prayer
We are moms just like you from ACS, APS, and GV who can easily carry around the concerns of our homes, schools, and communities. We gather together weekly to direct these to and commune with a God who is near and who cares. We meet right here at Allendale Christian on Thursdays
in the girls locker room! All Moms are welcome, whether you desire to grow in this area or if it is your greatest passion; whether you can come for a season or regularly. We would love to meet you!

Unity Christian High School is hosting New Student Nights on January 27, January 29, and February 5 beginning at 7:00 p.m.
These nights are intended for both the student and parents and are designed to have you explore the classes and programs at Unity, experience what a day is like, and engage with other future students and families. Call or email Unity (669-1820 or

Unity Christian Flag Football for Boys Grades 2-7
- Unity Christian will be hosting a Flag Football Camp Saturday afternoons on February 1, 8, 15, and 22 for boys in 2nd through 7th grades. Instruction will be given on basic skills, fundamentals, and rules of football, but the majority of the time will focus on playing flag football. No experience is necessary and players of any level are encouraged to participate. Boys in 2nd-3rd will meet from 12 – 1 p.m., 4th-5th will meet from 1:15 – 2:15 p.m., and 6th-7th will meet from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. Cost is $30, and the deadline to register is January 29. Veldman Farms is small greenhouse
in Zeeland/West Olive area looking for seasonal help with planting, shipping, and various other tasks. Open to part and full time employees. (Day shifts only.) Unity Summer Sports Camp Schedule
