Student Packet Pick-Up!
Below are the key details for pick-up this week:
- The date for pick-up is this Friday, May 1.
- Preschool - 5th grade classes will have tables along the curb in the front of school (main parking lot). The tables will be labeled and will start to the south with preschool and move up the grades. Please park in the lot and walk up to the tables to grab material. Please follow social distancing guidelines as well. Additionally, if you are not feeling well, we can make alternative arrangements.
- If you have library books or bus passes that need to be returned, please do so when you come to pick up material. Your child's teacher will also communicate to you if they need any items dropped off for their class.
- Schedule for Pick-up
- Please do your best to come during the following times (based on last name). If your time does not work, you are able to come during one of the other times below.
- A-H: 9am - 10:30am
- I-O: 10:30am - 12:00pm
- P-Z: 12:00pm - 1:30pm
2020-2021 Enrollment is nearly complete!
There are some important forms that accompany enrollment. It is important to turn in these forms as soon as possible. Please find the sections in this link that pertain to the students from your family:

If you have not completed your enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year yet:
- An email was sent to you with directions on how to complete your online enrollment for the fall. There is a $300 enrollment fee per family (comes directly off tuition). However, with the financial situation that some families are currently facing due to forced closures, you will be allowed to waive the fee at this point and have it be part of your tuition payments for next year.

Tuition Assistance for 2020-21
ACS participates in FACTS, a grant application program for our school. Completion of the FACTS application is a requirement for next year's enrollment if you are expecting a remaining balance at the end of the school year or you will be requesting tuition assistance. Families who wish to apply for tuition assistance will need to use the FACTS application format online at
Parents who have children in more than one of the participating schools need only to fill out the application one time-the information will be available to other Christian schools where their children attend. The application fee will be paid by the participating schools.
Summer Tutoring Opportunities
There are a few teachers that are available and interested in tutoring students this summer. If you have an interest in tutoring for an ACS student, please email your child's name, and grade to email@example.com. We will communicate with the teachers and have them reach out to you if the schedule will work for them.
Kindergarten Screening will be rescheduled for a later date.

Annual Golf Outing
Allendale Christian School is partnering with AnchorPoint Christian School for a second year in hosting the annual golf outing (4 person scramble) on Saturday, June 27, 2020. The goal is to raise money in order to lower tuition for
. We request your participation in this event (Save the Date! forms to come soon!). It’s bound to be a great event for all and we welcome you to join us for a day of good golf, food, and fun!
ACS will be participating in a National Field Day from home on Friday, May 8!
Even though we won't be at school to do this together, we hope you can have a great time as a family. More information to come including activities you can choose from!
Revised Kristina Moelker 5K - May 13
With our 5K being cancelled this year, we invite all ACS families to join together as a community. Wear a past 5K shirt or an ACS theme shirt and get outdoors by yourself or as a family from 7-7:30. You might decide to walk, jog, bike, rollerblade, or find some other way to be active. While doing this, take some time to give praise to the Lord and then lift up our ACS family in prayer (students, families, teachers/staff, administration/school board).
Greenhouse Gift Card Sale
We are thrilled to announce that once again we will be partnering with the local greenhouses for our annual Greenhouse Gift Card Fundraiser! Not only is this a great way to support our local greenhouses during this unique time, but every gift card sold will raise 15-30% profit for the school! Countryside Greenhouse will donate 15%, W. W. Greenhouses will donate 20%, and Motman's Greenhouses, Kraker Greenhouses, and JW Greenhouses will donate 30%.
Due to Covid-19, this year's sale will be handled a little differently. At this time,
no in person
sales will take place.
How do I pay for my order?
We have a new option this year! You can pay for your order ahead of time via Venmo or PayPal! We still accept check or exact cash at time of pick-up.
When is the first pick-up time frame?
Our first pick-up time will be this Friday (5/1) during your scheduled packet pick-up time frame. Please look for a separate table where you can pick-up your gift card order! *Please remember to follow social distancing guidelines.
When is pick-up after Friday?
After Friday, you may pick-up your orders every Tuesday at school from 1pm-2pm. Orders can also be picked up at Ralph Meyers Trucking, 9585 Lake Michigan Drive during the following hours: M-F 7am-7pm, Sat. 7am-5pm. Please allow 24hrs from time of order placed to pick-up time.

ACS PTA is still accepting Trash for Cash items! We ask that you 'stockpile' your physical items (Family Fare, Our Family, Tyson) until they can be properly turned in/collected. Items that can be donated online, such as Coke and Box Tops, PLEASE take steps to donate these from home since they do expire!

The PTA Committee Sign-Up will be coming out on Monday, May 11.
This is a great opportunity to get to know and serve next to other ACS families. In order to fill all of our volunteer positions, we ask that each household/family serves on 2 committees (1 if you are a single parent) for the 2020-2021 school year. Please prayerfully consider where God is leading you to serve for the upcoming school year.

Unity Christian will again be sponsoring many sports camps this summer
for students age 3 to 12th grade. The camp schedule has been finalized (with the exception of golf camp and swim camp), and is available at this link or at unitychristianathletics.org under the "Camps and Clinics" tab. Online registration for Unity summer sports camps will begin on Monday, April 13. We look forward to having your students join us this summer!
