In order for a student to return to school after having a fever
they must be
fever-free for 24 hours without medication
before they are allowed to return to school. Also, out of consideration to all of our families, if your child has been sick during the night, please keep them home a day until you know they are healthy! Thank you for doing your part to keep everyone healthy!

Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences
will be held February 18 and 20 from 5:00-8:15 pm. An information sheet was sent home with your child. You only need to return this sheet
you have a time that conferences will not work for you. Please be sure to return the sheet no later than Friday, February 7. A copy of the form can also be found here ->
Middle School Parent-Teacher Conferences
The middle school teachers will send a Sign-Up Genius link via email
the elementary conference schedule is sent home. Middle School conferences are not mandatory; you will only be assigned a conference time

Tuition Assistance for 2020-21
ACS participates in FACTS, a grant application program for our school. Completion of the FACTS application is a requirement for next year's enrollment if you are expecting a remaining balance at the end of the school year or you will be requesting tuition assistance. Families who wish to apply for tuition assistance will need to use the FACTS application format online at
The application information will be easily accessible data from your 2019 tax return, along with financial accounts, and will require that copies of confirming tax documents be sent to the FACTS center. The FACTS organization will analyze the information of each applicant. They will provide our school with recommended grant amounts based on need and financial status. Parents who have children in more than one of the participating schools need only to fill out the application one time-the information will be available to other Christian schools where their children attend. Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2020. The application fee will be paid by the participating schools.
ACS is hosting a Robotics Club
for students in grades 4-6. The Club will be held in March. Please see the enrollment form/sign-up document below. Enrollment forms are due February 26. Due to the large cost of starting a program and purchasing the equipment, the cost will be $25 per student. This will cover 8 sessions, which includes two Saturday sessions. Allendale Christian School will be holding its 13th annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament
on Pi Day - Saturday, March 14 - at Allendale High School! There will be divisions for boys and girls for each grade level in 3rd through 8th grade. Please visit

ACS is in need of someone to coach our 3-5th grade boys and girls running club team this year.
The season begins near the end of March and concludes in May with a 5K. Practices would be two times a week. If you or someone you know would be interested in coaching please contact us so that we can continue this great program. You may contact Mrs. Lamer with any questions:
Moms in Prayer
We are moms just like you from ACS, APS, and GV who can easily carry around the concerns of our homes, schools, and communities. We gather together weekly to direct these to and commune with a God who is near and who cares. We meet right here at Allendale Christian on Thursdays
in the girls locker room! All Moms are welcome, whether you desire to grow in this area or if it is your greatest passion; whether you can come for a season or regularly. We would love to meet you!

will be given away at the February 29 ACS Auction this year! This great opportunity is being provided by

. If your ticket is drawn and you are at the auction, we will also add $100 to the student's hot lunch account for next year!
Tickets are needed to be a part of the drawing. The tickets will be sold individually for $25, or five tickets for $100. After five tickets, you may buy as many as you want for $20 a piece. Tickets will be sold at the auction, but also at school during the following times:
Fridays in February (7th, 14th, 21st, 28th) from 2:30-3:30pm.
You may buy tickets for your own family or as a gift to another family. Start buying tickets this week to help support ACS. We hope to see you at the auction on February 29!

TRIP Program Information Meeting

With new families joining Allendale Christian and changes with technology and ShopWithScrip website, the TRIP committee wants to provide an opportunity to answer any questions and review options available to families to earn money to lower tuition costs. Unity Summer Sports Camp Schedule
Unity Christian will again be sponsoring many sports camps this summer for students age 3 to 12th grade. The camp schedule has been finalized (with the exception of golf camp and swim camp), and is available at this

Allendale Family Vision and Love INC of Allendale
have partnered to create a program called Give One Day to provide FREE eye care and eye wear to those who may not otherwise be able to afford it.
